I absolutely hate pears, but even I might try this recipe. Thanks, once again, for adding a little dose of happy to my morning. (I, too, am craft-challenged. My daughter and I are making red and green paper chains this morning and even this sad little activity has me frustrated. Huh.)

The sake was a nice addition. Gave it an interesting depth of flavor. But then again, I don’t have much to compare it to, now do I?

huh, guess I missed the memo to add sake to MY pear crisp last night. The good thing about mine is that dad and Mary aren’t crazy about pears, so I think it’s ALL MINE. In fact, I did a pretty good job last night of claiming it.
